Whew! It’s been a busy summer so far. Hubby and I moved to a new place (which is amazing and wonderful, and I may or may not occasionally look around and wonder how I’m Grown-Up enough for this!). Turns out, unpacking with a toddler around takes a little longer than before. However, we’re making good headway and my work area is starting to take shape. It still has a ways to go, but I can get things done now, and that’s a start.

So, a friend commissioned me to make two onesies for some of her friends who are Croatian. This means I get to play with foreign languages again. Happily, Croation uses an alphabet similar enough to the Latin Alphabet, that I could just type up the fonts in Word to use as a template.

Mali Mado means “Little Bear” which is a play on the friend’s last name. And Prva Velika Gospa means “My First Velika Gospa” which is a big, annual Croatian celebration.

I love how they turned out!
